Everyone Who Ever Blocked Me on Twitter
Friends come and go, blocked people are forever
I started tweeting in 2009.
Over the past decade, a whole lot of verified Twitter users have blocked me, for various reasons. Often times I tweeted at people “Sorry for unfollowing,” instead of writing a more creative reply to their tweets. Many saw it as rude; unfollowing used to be done in private.
In other cases I was accused of ‘snitch-tagging’, the habit of @’ing people mentioned by name by others, but not yet tagged, in any thread I saw fit. The aim was to include everyone in a conversation, especially if they were talked about behind their backs.
I never used foul language or broke Twitter’s rules of conduct.
The list below is a collection of all of those who gave me the honor of seeing me blacklisted for life.
One cannot access their list, but it’s there, inseparable part of each profile.
I cannot remember when every blocking took place, but it always hit me suddenly and without reproach.
